CHRISTINA CARBONE
Xtina is an auteur of the creative underworld. Classically trained in fine art since grade school, she attended MICA in Baltimore in 2001 and broke free of traditional painting in favor of multi-dimensional performance art and fashion, bringing together her skills in costume construction, choreography, sound editing and multi-media installations. Since moving to Philly in 2007, she has transferred these creative energies onto the stage once again with fire performance, bellydancing, and performance art direction with Scorch Fire Show in 2010 and debonair burlesque duo, The Penny Treats. Her current work to date consists mainly of paintings in both oils and acrylics, printmaking, costumes and other mixed media in addition to her developing stage presence in the Philadelphia dance and fire art communities.
